Frequently Asked Questions
ARE RAINCHASER WATER TANKS ENGINEER CERTIFIED?

All of our tanks have been engineered and designed to comply with all the relevant government standards, for the strongest possible tank and come fully certified. Rainchaser offers a copy of the certified drawings with every tank as required for your shire application.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Rainchaser offer a choice of colours, a lockable manhole, quality outlets and ball valves, overflow pipes away from the tank, leaf strainer filter basket and a 20 year pro-rata warranty as standard with every tank. Delivery and installation.

HOW IS THE RAINCHASER WATER TANK STRONGER THAN OTHER TANKS?

Rainchaser uses a minimum of 1 mm Bluescope Steel wall panels and offsets them like a brick wall. Rainchaser uses larger bolts and more of them when compared to other tanks. The liners are made in Australia and are of the highest quality. Along with the stronger roof trusses our tanks are made to perform to the highest standard.

WHAT SORT OF LINER COMES WITH THE TANKS?

Rainchaser uses Australian manufactured liners made by CE Bartlett in Ballarat Victoria. The woven fabric liner complies with AS2001.2.3, AS 1441.6 and AS 2001.2.10. These liners have superior tensile strength, flex cracking and wing tear. These liners are UV stabilized and are suitable for potable water.

CAN I GET A GRANT FOR MY TANK?

Both the State and Federal governments offer grants for the installation of water storage tanks for potable water. It is best to contact your local shire to see what is available at that time for your area.
